NEW YORK, USA – Qatar Airways is delighted to bring the celebrated German football club, FC Bayern München, onboard its revolutionary A350-900 for the 2019 Audi Summer Tour.

Qatar Airways’ A350-900 offers unprecedented levels of interoperability and a highly efficient solution to meet the long-haul passenger demands of the rapidly expanding Qatar Airways network.

Qatar Airways Senior Vice President of the Americas, Eric Odone, said: “As the Official Airline Partner to the defending Bundesliga champions, FC Bayern München, we are excited to once again be a significant part of the team’s U.S. tour and to celebrate their anticipated games in two of our important gateways – Los Angeles and Houston. Our partnership with FC Bayern builds upon our existing commitment in supporting the most popular sport in the world, as evident through our football club sponsorships around the globe and ongoing support for the German football team. We look forward to cheering on FC Bayern München during their summer tour, as well as engaging with the fans.”

During the 2019 U.S. Tour, FC Bayern will compete against Arsenal in Los Angeles on Wednesday July 17, followed by a game on Saturday July 20 against Read Madrid in Houston. The tour will close in Kansas City on Tuesday July 23 with a match against AC Milan.

To celebrate FC Bayern München’s U.S. Tour, Qatar Airways is connecting fans to their favorite FC Bayern players through a strategic brand campaign. The five-season deal between Qatar Airways and FC Bayern will see the airline’s signature logo adorning the jersey sleeves of the German record champions.
