Drive up Thailand’s highest mountain near Chiang Mai

Meet local hill tribes trekking through Sapa in Vietnam

 

Take flight to Vietnam’s city of Hanoi and journey to the nearby mountain region of Sapa. You will be spoilt with scenery when hiking through this picturesque part of the world; from wandering through the lush, terraced rice fields to splashing around in freshwater waterfalls, to riding a cable car up to the highest mountain in the Indochinese Peninsula and discovering the most picturesque mountainside villages.

Hill tribes make up most of Sapa’s population, as they reside in small villages on the mountain’s edge. There are five main ethnic groups in Sapa, each who have their own traditions and lifestyles. Witness elephants on safari in a Sri Lanka national park

 

Admire the spectacular Sigiriya, an ancient rock formation in Sri Lanka which travelers can hike or climb up. Look out for the inscriptions which can be found engraved in the rock face. Once you’ve experienced the beauty of Sigiriya, we recommend taking a day tour to Udawalawe.
