1.       These terms and conditions set out the terms on which Qatar Airways offers its free prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) to participants.

2.       Entries into the Prize Draw are limited to one per person.

3.       The Prize Draw will launch on 1 March 2018 at 0.01am GMT and close on 15 March 2018 at 11.59pm GMT (the “Promotion Period”). Any entry submitted after this date will not be counted.

4.       In order to be entered into the Prize Draw you must:

        a.       sign up for Qatar Airways’ newsletter using this Facebook and/or Instagram ad entry form during the Promotion Period;

        b.      be a resident of the Republic of Ireland;

        c.      not have previously subscibed to Qatar Airways newsletter;

        d.       be aged 18 years or older at the time; and

        e.      not have been a previous winner of any other of Qatar Airways’ promotions or competitions.

5.       Employees, officers, directors and agents of Qatar Airways and its subsidiaries, and each of their immediate families and household members are not eligible to participate in the Prize Draw.

6.       Qatar Airways will draw two winning participants at random from all eligible entries. Each winning participant will win the prize of 360,000 Bonus Avios. For the avoidance of doubt, each winning participant is only entitled to one prize.

7.       Each winning participant will be notified that they have won by a Prize Announcement email on or before 18 March 2018 using the email address provided at the time of signing up.

8.       In order to claim the prize, within 8 days of receipt of the Prize Announcement email, each winning participant must:

        a.       respond to the Prize Announcement email confirming that he/she has received the Prize Announcement email. Failure to do so will result in the applicable participant forfeiting his/her prize and the Prize Draw being redrawn; and

        b.      join Qatar Airways Privilege Club (here) – if they are not already a member - and send their membership number to Qatar Airways by responding to the Prize Announcement email. This will allow Qatar Airways to deposit the 360,000 Bonus Avios to the winning participant’s account.

9.       The prize (360,000 Bonus Avios) will be deposited into the winning participant’s Privilege Club account. The name of the winning participant must match the name on the account.

10.   At the date of these terms and conditions, the amount of Bonus Avios that constitute the prize are sufficient to be redeemed as two Business Class return tickets from Dublin Airport via Doha to any destinations in the Qatar Airways network. Please note that the cost of flights and therefore value of Bonus Avios is subject to change from time to time.

11.   The Bonus Avios are valid for a minimum of three years from grant, after which they shall expire.

12.   Each winning participant is responsible for any and all taxes, fees, security and passenger facility charges applicable to the prize. Liability with regards to visa, passport and health requirements rest solely with the winning participants. Accommodation, airport transfers and other travel expenses are not included in the prize and are the responsibility of the winning participant.

13.   Bonus Avios are non-extendable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be converted to cash.
