    On your trip to Gassim, you must visit the Qassim Dates Market in Buraydah, especially if you're in the region during the harvest season between August and September. Here you can sample some sweet fresh dates and buy a range of date confectionery.

    It's also worth travelling to the outskirts of Buraydah, where the world's largest camel market is located. As well as camels, you'll find an assortment of leather goods, such as saddles, bridles, and woollen blankets, for sale. Just make sure you get there early. A spectacular sight, the market opens at 6am every day, but usually closes by 10am.
