Itinerary

Day 1:
Kathmandu
  On arrival, transfer to the hotel. After check-in, rest of the day at leisure. Later in the evening, have a briefing about Nepal and your stay during the holiday. Overnight in Kathmandu. (B)  
       
Day 2:
Explore Kathmandu / School Visit
  After breakfast, visit Swyambhunath, Paropakar high school, for orphan and destitute children, Kathmandu Durbar square with local guide/Escort. Overnight in Kathmandu. (B)  
       
Day 3:
Kathmandu - Nagarkot
  Morning Drive to the scenic hill station of Nagarkot, taking time to explore this rural enclave and perhaps take scenic hike around the area. Tour will continue to the old city of Bhaktapur also known as Bhadgaon known for its ancient architectural styles of Nepali culture. Overnight in Kathmandu. (B)  
       
Day 4:
Kathmandu - Temple Visit, Stupas and experience meditation
  Begin the tour with a visit to the Pashupatinath, a Hindu temple on the banks of the Bagmati River in Deopatan, which attracts thousands of pilgrims each year. NB: non-Hindus are barred in the temple. Visitors can view it from the opposite bank of the river. Also visit the Boudhanath Stupa the largest and holiest Buddhist temple in Nepal, the center of Tibetan culture. Rest of the day at leisure to explore Kathmandu or participate in special meditation/yoga classes (appointment required). Return to hotel in the evening for overnight in Kathmandu. (B)  
       
Day 5:
Kathmandu - Chitwan
  After breakfast, proceed to Chitwan by drive which will take approximately 5 to 6 hours under normal road condition. On arrival, the naturalists of the jungle resort will share their knowledge of the jungle’s flora and fauna as they guide you on elephant back and in Land rovers, on nature walks and bird-watching excursions and perhaps explore the dense forest of Churia hills, (weather permitting). Overnight in Chitwan (B L D)  
       
Day 6:
Chitwan
  Early Morning nature Walk/ Bird watching, an exciting walk with nature that will introduce you the main feature of western Chitwan’s Sal forest, open grassland and riverine jungle. Guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter. This program lasts about 2-3 hours. Have breakfast at the jungle resort and an elephant briefing program later. Also to follow is canoeing and jeep safaris (weather permitting). Have a slide presentation in the evening on the park and wildlife. Overnight at the Jungle Resort. (B L D)  
       
Day 7:
Chitwan - Pokhara
  Proceed for the Village visit in the early morning. Our naturalist will brief you about the social and cultural aspect of the villagers and their lifestyle. After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, which takes approximately 5 to 6 hours under normal road conditions. Proceed for an extensive tour of Pokhara’s natural wonders and a scenic boat ride on Phewa Lake, Nepal’s second largest. Overnight in Pokhara (B)  
       
Day 8:
Pokhara
  The day at Pokhara will begin with the drive to the World Peace Pagoda, created by a Japanese monk. We wrap up our morning with a short hike around the area. Continue to the International Mountaineering Museum. Overnight in Pokhara (B)  
       
Day 9:
Pokhara - Kathmandu
  Transfer to the airport to catch a flight back to Kathmandu. Afternoon visit Patan City- the historical center and cultural heart of Nepal. In the evening, experience authentic cuisine with cultural dance performance by the local artists. Overnight in Kathmandu (B D)  
       
Day 10:
Kathmandu
  After breakfast, rest of the morning at leisure till your departure transfer. Normal check out is 12 Noon. (B)
