Day 1: Sunday :Frankfurt - Wurzburg - Rothenburg ob der Tauber
Depart from Frankfurt in the morning through the Spessart mountains to Wuerzburg. Enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Residence and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Move on to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. In the evening enjoy a welcome dinner. Later, join an unforgettable tour with the Night Watchman. Overnight at Hotel Eisenhut or similar. (D)

Day 2: Monday: Rothenburg - Augsburg - Munich
Continue the trip along the Romantic Road. See charming villages like Dinkelsbuehl or Noerdlingen before arriving at Augsburg. Continue to the Bavarian capital, Munich. During an orientation tour pass Nymphenburg Castle and the Olympic Grounds. On arrival in Munich, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, walk to the ‘Glockenspiel’ (carillon) at Marienplatz. Overnight at Erzgiesserei o.s. (B)

Day 3: Tuesday: Munich - Garmisch - Partenkirchhen - Ettal - Oberammergau - Fuessen
Depending on the weather conditions, drive to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Later, proceed to the Benedectine abbey of Ettal and to Oberammergau. Make a short stop at the rococo church in Wies before proceeding to Fuessen.

Day 4: Wednesday: Fuessen - Hohenschwangau - Linderhof - Rottenbuch - Fuessen
Drive to Hohenschwangau. After a guided visit of the King Ludwig II Castle continue to Linderhof and then back to Fuessen. Overnight at Luitpoldpark Hotel o.s. (B)

Day 5: Thursday: Fuessen - Lindau - Lake Constance
After breakfast head to Lake Constance. Enjoy a walking tour of the beautiful village Lindau before continuing to Konstanz. Later, check-in at the hotel in the nearby city Singen. Overnight at Holiday Inn Express o.s. (B)

Day 6: Friday: Lake Constance-Black Forest - Freiburg - Heidelberg
Enter the Black Forest. Enjoy a drive through the beautiful countryside towards the idyllic town of Freiburg. After a city tour continue to Heidelberg, see the inner courtyard of the impressive castle, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the wine cellar with its big barrel. In the evening, celebrate a farewell dinner at famous Restaurant Zum Ritter St. Georg. Overnight at Hotel Zum Ritter St. Georg o.s. (B, D)

Day 7: Saturday: Heidelberg - Ruedesheim - Frankfurt
Depart Heidelberg early morning to the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. In Ruedesheim, board a steamer for a Rhine river cruise passing fascinating castles, ruins and the legendary Loreley Rock. Transfer back to Frankfurt. (B)
