Warsaw Old Town dating back to 13th century is the oldest part of the town and the cultural centre of the city. A walk along the Royal Route, the historical road connecting the Royal Castle with the Palaces In Royal Lazienki Park and Wilanow, is a journey through the old times to the modern times. The stroll takes you through many landmarks including churches, palaces and interesting shops.

The major attractions include the ultra-modern biographical Chopin Museum, Maria Sklodwska-Curie Museum, the Warsaw Citadel, one of the architectural attractions of the city and the Warsaw Rising Museum. Mały Powstaniec or the Little Insurgent Monument in the Old Town is a statue commemorating the child soldiers who fought and died in the Warsaw Uprising.

One of the most recognizable and highest building in Warsaw is the Palace of Science and Culture. The Mausoleum of Soviet Soldiers in the city center is an impressive and popular park in Warsaw.

You can also see many historic architecture, with old street lamps and pavements and the famous Rozycki market place at the Praga district on the right bank of Vistula. When it comes to cuisine, Warsaw offers specialities from around the world apart from typical Polish dishes.
