DAY 1: SATURDAY: CASABLANCA
From Mohammed V Airport, you’ll be taken to your hotel. Following check-in, the rest of the day is yours to explore the immediate vicinity or simply relax after your journey.
DAY 2: SUNDAY: CASABLANCA – RABAT (95 KMS)
Start your day in the economic capital of Morocco and visit the central market, the Habous district, the Royal Palace, Mohamed V Square, the residential area of Anfa and the interior of the impressive Hassan II Mosque. Next, head on to Rabat, the administrative capital of the country and proceed on a city tour, visiting the Royal Palace, (Mechouar),
the Oudaya Kasbah, the Mohamed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and the Monetary Museum.
DAY 3: MONDAY: RABAT – MEKNES – FEZ (220 KMS)
Leave for Fez today and stop over on the way at Meknes. Here you’ll get to experience the Ismaili capital, famous for its 40-kilometre-long walls, and visit the Bab Mansour, the Royal stables, the Jewish quarter, the holy city of Moulay Idriss and the impressive ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis before you make your way to Fez.
DAY 4: TUESDAY: FEZ
The whole day is devoted to the sightseeing of Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco. Visit the medieval Medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine Fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the Karaouine Mosque. The afternoon is reserved for a trip to Fez Jdid.
DAY 5: WEDNESDAY: FEZ – BENI MELLAL – MARRAKECH (485 KMS)
Today, leave for Marrakech, passing by the Berber village of Immouzer du Kandar and Ifrane, and arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon. The rest of the evening is yours to take in the sounds and sights of Marrakech at night.
DAY 6: THURSDAY: MARRAKECH
Today’s sightseeing tour of Marrakech includes a visit to the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Minaret and Majorelle Gardens, named after the famous French painter who constructed his art deco villa here and started the botanical gardens. In 1980, it became the residence of Yves Saint Laurent. In the afternoon, visit the famous Djemaa El Fna Square with its surrounding souks and handicraft quarters. This evening, opt for dinner with the Fantasia show.
DAY 7: FRIDAY: MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA (250 KMS)
You have the whole day to explore at your leisure before departing for Casablanca.
DAY 8: SATURDAY: CASABLANCA
Take this last opportunity in the morning for some last-minute shopping or revisit your favourite parts of Casablanca before you leave for your flight.
