Book a flight from Oslo to Singapore with Qatar Airways

South East Asia’s most exciting city is a stunning feast for the senses, with regular flights from Oslo to Singapore with Qatar Airways. Take advantage of our exclusive, award-winning services to get you to your destination in style and comfort. These include delicious in-flight cuisine served by friendly, attentive staff, and spacious seating. Everything is designed around you to make your journey a truly pleasant experience.

In Singapore you’ll find a city that exists seemingly on two separate levels. There are the modern blocks of glass and steel, the boutique shopping malls and haute cuisine restaurants, but also the vast, atmospheric night markets and the small, ancient temples which dot the sprawling city. With attractions such as the Raffles Hotel and a world-class zoo, there are plenty of sights to enjoy in this fascinating city.

Flying from Oslo

Oslo Airport is not just a transport hub, but thanks to its extensive art exhibitions and displays, practically an art gallery too! Qatar Airways flights from Oslo take you from this northern location to a number of Middle Eastern destinations. Located just 19 miles from the centre of Oslo at Gardermoen, the airport offers passengers a smooth, relaxed and distinctly Scandinavian experience.

Transportation and parking

The Airport Express Train (Flytoget) takes approximately 20 minutes to get to the airport and stops at various locations along the way. The Norwegian State Railway also runs services from Skien, Oslo, Lillehammer and Trondheim.

The Airport Express Coach (SAS Flybussen) runs from Oslo’s city centre to the airport every 20 minutes, while the NOR-WAY Bus Express (Flybussekspressen) and Nettbuss also run from a number of locations to the main terminal. A dozen taxi companies operate services to and from the airport. Parking is available with 19,755 spaces spread across two covered and six outdoor parking areas.

Arriving in Oslo

Qatar Airways flights from Oslo depart from Hall 3 in the main terminal. Be aware that the airport is known as a "silent" airport, so announcements for flights are only done in the immediate vicinity of the gate.

Check the departures’ boards on arrival into the main entrance to locate the correct area of the terminal for your flight.

Facilities and amenities

The main terminal has a good selection of fashion and accessories outlets, including high-end luxury goods, perfume and duty-free shops. There is a heavy emphasis on Norwegian goods, including food.

A variety of food outlets offer delicious treats including pastries, snack foods and light bites.  Two hours of free Wi-Fi is available for all passengers, and facilities such are baby changing areas are also available.

Arriving in Singapore

Fly to Singapore with Qatar Airways and you’ll arrive in a unique destination that has its own personality. This city state is easily accessible, thanks to its continuing importance as a trading point between east and west.

Colonial influences can still be seen in its architecture and customs, but today Singapore is a true melting pot of cultures.

Singapore is looking to the future too, and is becoming a major location for high-tech industries and innovation. Yet, the city welcomes leisure tourists with open arms, and a flight to Singapore with Qatar Airways is a great way to begin your Far East odyssey.

Tourist attractions

Singapore’s beaches are a little slice of paradise, especially those on the tranquil Sentosa Island. If you prefer exploring colonial architecture, then head to the Bras Basah area east of Orchard and north of the Singapore River, to find a cluster of historical buildings and museums.

Perhaps the city’s most famous building is the Raffles Hotel (which has appeared in plenty of films), while the National Museum of Singapore offers a more in-depth exploration of the history and culture of the region.

Singapore’s wildlife is unique and a big draw for explorers and visitors. To get a real feel for the flora and fauna of the region visit the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. The Jurong Bird Park and Singapore Zoo should also be on your list if you’re an animal lover.
