Abu Dhabi is a glittering jewel of a city, with a long and strong connection to trade and the sea. Today, its marina is filled with luxury yachts and much of the international trading is done in its ultra-modern commercial sector.

Flying from Kuala Lumpur

Opened in 1998, Kuala Lumpur International Airport has quickly gained a reputation as an efficient, friendly and pleasant start to any international journey.

The airport was voted to have the World’s Best Immigration Service in the 2013 Skytrax World Airport Awards. Qatar Airways flights from Kuala Lumpur connect to destinations all over the world, making this an important international hub and a key part of our network of departure points in the Asia-Pacific region.

Transportation and parking

Kuala Lumpur International Airport has an extensive network of ground transport options, including various bus routes to and from the capital, around the airport itself.

A choice of train options are also available, with non-stop KLIA Ekspres trains running every 15-20 minutes, while KLIA Transit trains also provide a regular service. Note that tickets are not interchangeable between the two services. There are two main car parks offering 11,442 spaces, with a long-term parking lot located at Block A.

Arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport

The Plaza Premium Lounge is open to all customers, and there are also private lounges that can be rented by the hour.
