The airport has won numerous awards, including being rated the best airport worldwide by Airports Council International, as the world's cleanest airport and the world's best international transit airport by Skytrax.

The Incheon International Airport Railroad airport express (known as AREX) runs high-speed services from Gimpo Airport and Seoul to the Transport Centre next to the main terminal building.
