Buraydah is the capital of Al-Qassim Region in northcentral Saudi Arabia in the heart of the Arabian Peninsula. Its importance as an agricultural centre for the country is still prominent, although it is beginning to expand into other areas as well, including finance and commerce.
This makes it a popular destination for business travellers, and Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport is the primary entry and exit point for air travellers.

Transportation and parking
The easiest way to get to the airport from Buraydah is by taxi. These can be booked in advance by the hotel concierge or reception, or pre-booked by phone.
Buses and coach services also run regularly to the airport. Parking is limited, but close to the terminal, giving easy access.
Arriving at Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport
As this is a relatively small regional airport there is only one terminal, and passengers flying from Buraydah with Qatar Airways will depart from the main terminal.
Check the information boards on arrival to see which gate your flight has been allocated. Allow between 1-2 hours before your flight is due to depart for check in and to clear customs.

Facilities and amenities at the airport are good, with snacks and drinks available in the lounge area.
The airport is currently undergoing expansion and re-development, which should ensure that facilities are expanded in the coming years. Please note that no alcohol is sold in any of the retail or Duty Free outlets.
