AIR BERLIN

AIR BERLIN

Effective 19th August 2017, airberlin has temporarily suspended frequent flyer mileage accrual and redemptions for its own topbonus members as well as frequent flyers from partner airlines.

This meant flights taken or redemptions made on Air Berlin by Privilege Club members before 19th August would still have been eligible for mileage credit or travel respectively.

However, Air Berlin has now announced that it would cease all flight operation on 28th October 2017 including for its affiliate, NIKI.

This means Privilege Club members will not be able to file/request for retro claims after 28th October for any AB flight taken before 19th August.

Any redemption ticket previously issued with a travel date on/after 28th October will be cancelled automatically. Members with such tickets should contact Member Services stating their redemption ticket numbers requesting for full refund.

Privilege Club members will not be able to redeem Qmiles for award tickets on airberlin.

For any further queries relating to this announcement, please contact us or write to membersvc@qmiles.com
